A Research study from New England journal of Medicine reports that ballroom dancing at least two times a week reduced the risk of dementia as the dancer got older. In another area, it has been observed that a number of patients with Alzheimer's disease, a degenerative condition that effects memory and cognition, were able to recover some lost memories when they danced to familiar music.
